Skye Boris’s journey through education is a testament to her dedication and deep-rooted commitment to her community. With 11 years of experience in the field, Skye’s career began as a paraprofessional with the John S. Charlton School a foundation that paved the way for her subsequent roles as a Special Education and Physical Education teacher at Caesar Rodney High School. Today, she proudly serves as the Dean of Student Achievement, where she continues to make a profound impact on the lives of her students.
A 2009 graduate of Caesar Rodney High School, Skye’s connection to the district runs deep. Her pride in giving back to the school district that has shaped her career is evident in every aspect of her work. Her parents, both dedicated educators—her mother a school counselor and her father a coach—instilled in her a passion for education and a strong sense of community service from a young age.
Skye’s commitment to inclusivity and equity is reflected in her many roles and contributions. She actively coaches Unified Flag Football and Unified Basketball, leads the Varsity Softball team, and serves as the advisor for the Inclusive Blue Gold Club. Through these roles, she champions an environment where all students feel valued and supported.
Beyond her coaching and advisory roles, Skye is a vital member of the school’s leadership team, working tirelessly to foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere. She holds a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in special education from Wilmington University and is currently pursuing a degree in School Leadership with the goal of becoming a Principal.
Skye’s dedication extends beyond the classroom and into the community, where she is known for her active involvement and unwavering support. Her commitment to the Caesar Rodney High School community is a source of pride, as she continues to serve as a role model and advocate for student success.

Mr. Rayshaun Ward
Rayshaun Ward is a Dean of Student Achievement at Caesar Rodney High School, a position he holds with pride and dedication.
As an alumnus of Caesar Rodney, Mr. Ward brings a deep connection to the school community and a profound understanding of its values. Having earned his bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Mathematics from Delaware State University, Rayshaun embarked on his journey in education in 2014, driven by a passion for teaching and nurturing young minds. For a decade, Mr. Ward dedicated himself to shaping the lives of fifth-grade students, first at W.B. Simpson and then at Allen Frear Elementary, where he spent nine impactful years. His commitment to excellence earned him the prestigious title of Allen Frear's Teacher of the Year in 2022-2023.
Beyond the classroom, Rayshaun's influence extends to the basketball court, where he has coached boys' basketball for over a decade within the district. From coaching freshmen to leading the varsity team as Head Assistant Coach, his leadership has inspired countless student-athletes. Currently, he serves as the Head Coach at Postlethwait Middle School and coordinates basketball camps, enriching the lives of young athletes both on and off the court. He has served as a University of Delaware Service Learning Advisor & Mentor, an Educational Keynote Speaker, and a mentor in the Caesar Rodney High School Teacher Academy. He actively participates in various committees, including those focusing on school leadership, equity, ethnic minority affairs, and PBIS. Driven by the belief that "Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm," Rayshaun embodies a spirit of enthusiasm that fuels extraordinary results. He understands that enthusiasm is the key to motivating students, teachers, and staff members, and it plays a pivotal role in their success. Currently pursuing his School Leadership program at Wilmington University, Mr. Ward aspires to become a school principal.

Dr. June McCray
June McCray is a Dean of Student Achievement at Caesar Rodney High School.
Dr. McCray began her teaching career in 2008 in Pennsylvania at New Story, a private school for children on the spectrum. She spent eight years teaching special education (emotional support and learning support) for the Reading School District, followed by two years as a learning support teacher at Reach Cyber Charter School, and two years as a 504 Coordinator. Dr. McCray earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in 1994, a Master’s Degree in Urban Education from Alvernia University in 2010, an Education Specialist Degree from Northcentral University in 2021, and her Doctorate Degree from Northcentral University in 2022 and is dual-certified in elementary and special education.
