Mr. Joseph W. Rojas serves as an Assistant Principal at Caesar Rodney High School, where he supports student’s, whose last names begin with the letters A through De. Before entering the field of education, Mr. Rojas proudly served 22 years in the United States military, retiring from the U.S. Air Force with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Following his military career, he began his educational journey in 2014 as the Air Force Junior ROTC instructor at Salem County Vocational & Technical High School in New Jersey, where he taught and mentored students for ten years. He later transitioned into school leadership, serving as Dean of Students at William Penn High School before joining the administrative team at Caesar Rodney High School.

Mr. Rojas earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Louisville in 1995, a Master of Business Operations from the University of Arkansas in 2003, and a Master of Education Leadership from Wilmington University in 2024. He is committed to fostering a positive school culture, supporting student success, and building strong relationships with students, staff, and families. Mr. Rojas resides in Townsend, Delaware, with his wife, and together they are the proud parents of three accomplished adult daughters, each of whom has established successful professional careers of their own.
